I'm shocked to see positive reviews about this title. So far, according to my Kindle app, I have read about 9% of the book and it feels like I am reading something written by a college freshman. The most irritating issue is the constant use of "than" where it should have been "then," but there is an array of punctuation and other errors to choose from. The way the story is told feels inconsistent and empty, and the dialogues follow the same style. I'm trying to read the whole book to see if the actual story, discounting the story-telling aspect, is any good. So far, the best thing about this book is that it only costs $2.99!Product details

After being a Stephen King's faithful fan for many years, Aaron Niz seems to write poorly both in content and in style. Can netver be considered -I hope- a bestselling author. The reason I read three of his books was the great offer I bought them for.
Another great read from Aaron Niz! In "Compelled", he takes his readers thru the eerie life of the main character, who MUST do everything exactly the same everyday. When his schedule is interrupted from the norm, he spirals out of control! Highly recommend this book to action and thrillseekers!
I really enjoyed this book and plan on picking up some of the author's other offerings. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a suspenseful novel with a twist.
This book was read in just three days! What a great story! One of the networks should make this a series! Such a great story line making someone with OCD be addicted to killing people.
this book grabbed on page 1.it was a compelling(pun intended) read. the poor guy with ocd would believe anything that interferred with his timed daily events.mr. niz has been added to my list of favorite authors.
Interesting plot development but the psychological elements were a bit hard to accept. The ending was so abrupt and left so many plot points and characters hanging that I felt angry - which, for me, is a rare reaction to a book.
The plot info grabbed me and the poetic writing and thriller story for me hooked. Both the detective and the killer were amazing written. I absolutely loved how his OCD compulsion was replaced by a killing compulsion. I also loved that the detective's son was going to become a serial killer. I was hooked start to finish.
